Woman survives TransAsia crash

After what has been a tragic week for aviation, Taiwanese media have reported that a woman scrambled from the wreckage of the TransAsia Airways plane that crashed while trying to land in stormy weather earlier this week.
The woman, Hung Yu-ting, is one of 10 survivors of that flight.
Investigations are continuing into the cause of the crash, focusing on a 4-minute gap between the pilot’s request for a 2nd approach, and the crash on Penghu, a resort island off Taiwan.
