- Researchers from Clarkson University NY are investigating whether some reported hauntings are linked to mold in buildings.
- According to the website, engineering professor Shane Rogers says that hauntings are often reported in older-built structures that tend to suffer in air quality and that toxic mold can trigger psychosis, causing people to see ghosts!
- It’s reported that Rogers and his team of ‘ghostbusters’ plan to measure pollutants in the indoor air of several ‘haunted locations’ in New York, including the Frederic Remington Art Museum – where people claim to hear the voice of its former owner Madame Vespucci echoing from upper levels at night.
- The lesson in all of this? Maybe keep the house that extra bit tidy, just in case…
