- A Philadelphia woman has been charged with forgery and unauthorised practice of law after it was alleged she posed as a lawyer for a decade.
- It’s alleged that Kimberly Kitchen fooled law firm BMZ by forging a law license, bar exam results and email correspondence indicating that she had attended Duquesne University law school.
- Reports indicate that Kimberly handled numerous estate law matters for clients, despite never having attended law school – and even made partner at the law firm before the alleged fraud was discovered.
- During this period, Kimberly served as President of the Huntington County Bar Association, but eventually raised the suspicions of some local lawyers.
