- An unconvincing Ryan Gosling lookalike stunned attendees at a German Film Awards ceremony after he accepted an award for La La Land.
- The stunt was orchestrated by comedians Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf, who set up a fake agency and convinced organisers of The Goldene Kamera Awards that they could get Gosling to appear.
- Upon being called on stage to collect his award, Ludwig Lehner (a chef from Munich) told the audience (in a thick German accent), which included stars such as Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell, “Good evening, I am Ryan Gosling”, then dedicated the award to Joko and Klaas.
- It seems the organisers were unaware of the stunt, and have since ordered a review of security procedures.
