- Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi won his appeal against last year’s conviction for paying for sex with an underage prostitute, Karima El-Mahroug (‘Ruby the Heartstealer’).
- As a result, the Milan court threw out Silvio’s 7-year jail sentence.
- Mr Berlusconi now remains head of Italy’s right-wing Forza Italia party.
- Silvio is currently doing community service for a tax fraud sentence.
