- The owner of a bar in Hove, England got sick of customers not talking to one another, so he built a ‘Faraday Cage’ around it to block Wi-Fi signals!
- Steve Tyler, owner of the Gin Tub bar, says he used silver foils and copper mesh in the walls to make it difficult for patrons to get a signal.
- As a result, people can’t use their phones to avoid each other.
- It’s not yet known whether the move is legal, with some commenting that they’d avoid a place like this, as they’d be cut off from the world in the event of an emergency.
