- Approximately $HK15.3 million ($AU2.4 million) spilled out of an armoured van in Hong Kong sparking a cash grab frenzy among motorists and passers-by.
- TV footage shows people walking on to the highway and grabbing cash.
- Police rushed to the scene, some armed with shotguns – later warning that those who collected cash should return it, otherwise they will be committing the ‘crime of theft’.
- It’s reported that the security van reached its destination, but that the driver was oblivious to the fact that the back door was open and that boxes had fallen out.
