- Rebekah Brooks, former chief executive of News International, the publisher of News of the World, has been cleared of phone hacking, conspiracy and corruption charges.
- It is rumoured that Rebekah may return to the Australian arm of News Corp.
- Rebekah resigned and took a payout of approx $20m at the peak of the News of the World phone hacking scandal.
