No Big Day Out for Australia??

It is expected that there will be no Big Day Out in Australia in 2015 after AJ Maddah sold his share.

  • AJ Maddah has sold his share in the Big Day Out to US company ‘C3 Presents’.
  • The Big Day Out’s parent company, ‘B.D.O Presents’ is now understood to be entirely US-owned.
  • Australia is not expected to have a 2015 Big Day Out as no bookings have been made for the Big Day Out’s usual locations.
  • The Big Day Out has suffered in recent years with reduced crowds, the cancellation of headline acts and reported trading losses running in the millions.
  • Does this make room for a new player??
