Man fined for vandalising the Colosseum

Man fined for vandalising the Colosseum after he was caught trying to carve the letter K into one of its walls.

  • A Russian tourist has been fined 20,000 Euros after he was caught carving the letter K into a wall of the Colosseum.
  • The man was also given a 4-year suspended sentence for vandalising the colosseum.
  • This is the 5th incidence of vandalism at the relic this year, which receives over 6 million visitors each year.
