Germany defeat Brazil 7-1 in a hail of goals

Germany destroyed Brazil in a hail of goals, defeating the host nation 7-1 to progress to the 2014 World Cup final.
Goals were scored by Thomas Muller, Miroslav Klose, Toni Kroos (2), Sami Khedira and Andre Schurrle (2).
Klose’s goal made him the record scorer in World Cup history, at 17 goals – surpassing Ronaldo’s record of 16 goals.
Germany will now face the winner of the Argentina v Netherlands game in the final.
