- A black cat helped Pennsylvania police locate a fugitive by ‘looking’ in the direction of the man, who was hiding in a shed.
- According to a Facebook post from the Ephrata Police Department, officers were searching for Michael Steffy, having narrowed his whereabouts to a backyard.
- One of the officers saw that a black cat was standing next to a shed, but a search yielded nothing.
- As it turns out, the cat was staring intently at a DIFFERENT shed – so police followed the lead and made an arrest.
- Ephrata PD later said it is thankful for any crime fighting assistance, “whether human or feline”.
- Beware the black cat!
