What is NASA about to tell us about Mars??

Well – this is EXCITING!
At 1130am Australian EDT time today, NASA will announce a “major science finding” from its ongoing exploration of Mars! As a cheeky hint, NASA’s website touts the line “Mars Mystery Solved”!
Members of the public can will be able to ask questions using #AskNASA.
The last time NASA used a press conference to make an announcement, it revealed the Earth-like planet Kepler-452B.
The leading theory is that water has been found, which would raise further questions – such as where did it come from and what does it mean for life (past, present and future)? Scientists have long known that frozen water exists at the poles of Mars, but have been yet to find it in liquid form. The former head of NASA’s Mars Program Doug McCuistion says the discovery of flowing water would be “game-changing”.
The Mars Curiosity Rover has been exploring the Gale Crater of Mars since 2012.
So, what could it be? What’s your guess? Running water? Alien life?
