Engineering students at Stanford University employed the scientific principles behind the sticky feet of geckos to create ‘Gecko Gloves’, which will allow people to scale glass walls!
Despite the name, the gloves are actually paddles with slots to hold the climber’s hands tight to the back of the ‘gloves’.
The students have patents pending on their products and are reportedly in negotiations with toy companies and a Swiss entrepreneur for possible rock-climbing application.
