‘Smart genes’ discovered

Scientists have discovered 4 smart genes

  • Although the precise genes associated with intelligence are not yet known, scientists have made some progress by discovering 4 genes that contribute to cognitive performance.
  • The ‘smart genes’ were discovered by scientists after a study of 126,000 people from Australia, Europe and the USA.
  • While the overall effect on intelligence is minuscule, it proves that there is no one gene affecting intelligence.
