- Microsoft has confirmed that Internet Explorer will be joined by another browser (temporarily titled ‘Project Spartan’) when Windows 10 is released later this year.
- Although Microsoft is still researching what ‘Project Spartan’ will be and what it will be called, it states that it expects it to be the browser people will use on Windows 10.
- As to its name, comments made at a recent Microsoft Convergence revealed that studies show users of Google Chrome prefer Microsoft’s yet-to-be-named browser more appealing when it was preceded by ‘Microsoft’, rather than the vague ‘Internet Explorer’.
