- Harvard scientists argue that Pluto should be reinstated as a planet, having been downgraded to a ‘minor planet’ by the International Space Union in 2006 on the basis that it isn’t the biggest planet in its orbit.
- The logic used? “Even though a dwarf fruit tree is still a small fruit tree and a dwarf hamster is still a hamster”.
- Nothing is official yet, but if this proceeds, it looks like we’ll need another round of textbooks!
