- A Chinese restaurateur has been accused of lacing a popular noodle dish with opium so that his customers would keep coming back for more!
- The man, known only as ‘Zhang’ seems to have been caught out after a regular customer tested positive for opium during a routine traffic stop. The customer argued he’d never taken drugs before and asked his family to try the noodles to prove his point. Sure enough, his family also tested positive for opium.
- The Hua Shang Bao Daily reports that Zhang bought 2 kg of poppy seeds to put in his food.
