- A Gold Coast, Australia mother discovered an Eastern Brown Snake, the world’s 2nd most toxic land animal wrapped around her kids’ Lego collection!
- Snake catchers Tony and Brooke Harrison responded to the mother’s call to remove a ‘carpet python’ nestled amongst toys at her Tallebudgera home, but then watched the “blood run out of her face” when the snake was correctly identified.
- The Harrisons say the 1.7m male most likely got stuck, and was trying to get back outside to find a mate, and that this is a timely reminder for people to check with someone experienced before trying to remove a snake.
- The snake was removed without incident, but will we ever truly recover?
