- The Milwaukee Brewers have banned high fives in a bid to stop the spread of pink eye in the team.
- The preventative measure was implemented after catcher Jonathan Lucroy and pitching coach Rick Kranitz succumbed to the infectious malady.
- Although gloves would appear to solve the problem, it seems that the baseball team does not want to take any chances with the regular season fast approaching!
- Pink eye (or conjunctivitis, as it is also known) is inflammation of the conjunctiva (the outermost layer of the eye and the inner surface of the eyelids) and is highly contagious!
