- McDonald’s has recorded its worst sales results in over 10 years after a 2.5 per cent drop in June/July.
- The worst-performing sector was ‘Asia Pacific Middle East Africa’, with a 7.3 per cent decline in sales.
- It’s suggested a global trend towards healthier eating, stronger competition from ‘limited menu’ stores such as In-N-Out & recent scares with food quality in China have contributed to the drop in sales.
- McDonald’s has more than 35,600 stores worldwide.
