- Rory was in a car accident in August 2012, after which he spent 6 days in a coma.
- While in hospital, Rory lamented that he could not continue making movies, and it took a few months before he realised the truth.
- Although Rory is no longer Matthew McConaughey, he still speaks fluent French!
