- Scientists at the University of Rochester (NY) have developed an invisibility cloak using a simple arrangement of 4 lenses.
- Research carried out by the Professor of Physics and a graduate at the University focused on making objects appear ‘invisible’ while the image behind the hidden object remains in view. So far, they have managed to cloak a hand, a face and a ruler.
- Although the device is now patented, instructions to build your own cloak for about $100 are on the University’s website.
