Madonna tumbles at the Brit Awards!

In what has been dubbed #capegate, Madonna took a tumble at the Brit Awards when a backup dancer accidentally yanked her cape – while it was still attached to her!
Madonna fell down a couple of steps, but being the professional that she is, returned immediately to continue performimg her new song ‘Living for Love’.
In what was an uncanny example of life imitating art, the lyrics of the song include “lifted me up and watched me stumble, after the heartache I’m gonna carry on” – which she did!
Madonna says she’s fine, and that it was just that the cape was tied too tight. The plan WAS for the backup dancer to yank the cape to reveal Madonna’s costume underneath, but that didn’t quite pan out!
