- Despite its commercial success and critical praise, Lego was overlooked for an Oscars nomination for Best Animated Featute Film, receiving its only nomination for Best Original Song (you know which one).
- Maybe Lego was snubbed. BUT – in what has to be one of the best responses ever – Director Phil Lord tweeted “It’s OK. Made my own!”, which captioned a pic of a glorious Lego Oscar Statue!!! Pure class.
- On the upside, Phil and creative partner Chris Miller are involved in the Lego sequel!
- Everything is going to be awesome!
