- Kaspersky Lab has discovered ‘Onion’, being the successor to the malware Cryptlocker Ransom.
- Onion only affects Windows PC’s, and encrypts files and starts a countdown that lasts for 72 hours after which all files and folders are deleted forever if a random isn’t paid.
