Australian gaming journalist Alanah Pearce decided to confront the mothers of ‘online trolls’ by reporting the abuse she received to their mothers!
Alanah found that many of those sending her disgusting/sexual comments were actually boys, not men – & therefore a rational approach was unlikely to work.
One of the mothers actually responded saying her son was a “little shit”.
Alanah is a successful gaming journalist who reviews for, among others JJJ, and has her own YouTube channel.
Alanah’s tweet on the subject has so far received 11,000 retweets and 20,000+ favourites!
