• Thanks for the nightmares, Mr Craven.

• Horror icon Wes Craven passed away on Sunday at the age of 76 after a battle with brain cancer, surrounded by his loved ones at his home in Los Angeles. 

• Wes is best known for tormenting us with his Nightmare on Elm Street films and making us jump/laugh with the Scream franchise.

• Wes also created other classics such as The Hills Have Eyes and Last House on the Left.

• Wes was awarded lifetime achievement awards by the New York City Horror Film Festival and the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films.

• Wes’ legacy will inspire and haunt forever.
