• “Never gonna give you up”!

• The Westboro Baptist Church has been rickrolled AGAIN by the Foo Fighters!

•  Once the Foos learned the homophobic protesters were picketing outside their venue Kansas City, they drove past in a pickup truck with Rick Astley’s song blaring from the sound system.

• Band members held up signs saying “You got rock roll’d again” and “Keep it clean” while Dave Grohl enthusiastically clapped along to the song as fans cheered. One of the band’s “rickrolling crew” danced in a purple top and rainbow ‘budgie smugglers’ (speedos).

• Rickrolling is where people use an innocent link to direct you to the video clip for Astley’s 1987 hut “Never gonna give you up” clip. 

• The church was founded in Kansas in 1955 and is known for its bigoted attitudes, regularly picketing the funerals of Amercian soldiers, politicians and celebrities.
