Facebook to help stop you drunk-posting

Facebook is developing technology that will help stop you from posting embarrassing photos.

  • Facebook’s Artificial Intelligence Research Lab is developing a ‘digital assistant’ that will help stop you from drunk-posting embarrassing photos.
  • The enhanced facial recognition program will identify whether you look drunk in a photo, and ask whether you actually want to post it.
  • The program uses a form of artificial intelligence called ‘deep learning’, which is used by Android to recognise voice commands & Microsoft in translating Skype calls in real time.
  • I don’t know about you, but I have ‘drunk face’ with our without alcohol!
