- Broom > gun!?
- An employee at a Chinese restaurant in Brisbane stopped an attempted armed robbery by hitting the would-be-robber with a broom and chasing him out of the restaurant!
- It’s reported that a man pulled a handgun on the owner of the restaurant and yelled “money, money, money”.
- 61-year-old employee Pete Vuong thought the gun was fake, so he found a broom and hit the man in the face, and yelled “robber, robber” as he chased him out of the restaurant.
- The man was recorded making his getaway on a bicycle.
