Chinese drivers forced to sit in front of headlights as punishment

People who use high-beams in China may be forced to sit in front of full glare headlights for a minute as punishment!

  • People who use high-beams in China may be forced to sit in front of full glare headlights for a minute as punishment!
  • Police in Shenzen posted photos of the punishment on their Weibo account, warning drivers that they would learn firsthand how harmful full-beam headlights are.
  • It’s reported that one such recipient of the punishment said they’d never come back to Shenzen.
  • Police say the full-beam headlights can cause blindness and therefore accidents and that, while not mandatory, this punishment is a way of educating drivers.
