Bertie, a South African tortoise is now the fastest ever, recording a speed of .6 miles per hour – which means he could travel 100 metres in 6 minutes!
This is twice the speed of an average tortoise, smashing the previous record set in 1977!
His owner says Bertie lives in style with his girlfriend Shelly and his Guinness World Record on the wall.
