Black Friday sales – Anarchy in the UK!

Black Friday sales across the UK yesterday turned ugly with police called to quell ‘war zones’ in Dundee, Glasgow, Cardiff and London among others.
Arrests were made in relation to reports of fighting in a 300-strong crowd, masses who refused to leave stores when told stock had run out, and a man who threatened to ‘smash a staff member’s face in’.
A woman was injured when she was hit by a falling TV and a Tesco employee reportedly finished his shift with a black eye.
The sales originate from the US, with this being the first year many street stores participated.
