Beard transplants are becoming a thing!

Ever wanted a beard but can’t grow one or don’t have the time? Apparently, you can buy one!
Statistics compiled by Medigo show that beard transplant surgeries have increased by 600% from 2004 to 2014.
NY surgeon Dr Jeffrey Epstein says he does about 3 of these procedures per week, with many of his patients located in Brooklyn looking for the ‘hipster’ look.
During the procedure, single follicles are taken from the back of the head (where hair is thickest) and planted in the beard region. It’s reported that the procedure can cost between $4,000 (for ‘patch-work’) to $22,000 for a full-blown beard!
A man reportedly spent $22,000 to get the growth of whiskers on his cheeks!
