• 14-year-old Irving, Texas student Ahmed Mohamed was arrested at school after a teacher mistook his homemade clock for a bomb when it started beeping in class.

• Amidst the outrage to the incident, President Obama asked if Ahmed wanted to bring the clock to the White House to inspire like-minded kids to like science. Mark Zuckerbeg invited Ahmed to meet him at Facebook, saying the future belongs to people like Ahmed.

• Twitter said it loves building things, too – and offered Ahmed an internship!

• Ahmed says he makes his own radios and spent 20 minutes before bed every night assembling the clock.
