• Stephen Hawking made the comments during a talk he gave at the Sydney Opera House by way of hologram this weekend.
• The world’s most famous scientist discussed his life, cosmology, his findings on black holes and the universe, and fielded frequently light-hearted questions from the audience.
• In response to a question in relation to the effect of thousands of girls’ hearts breaking following Zayn’s departure from One Direction, Stephen mused this was finally an “important” question and pointed to the possibility of multiple universes as a source of hope.
• Stephen also confirmed that the universe was not created by a “supernatural” God-like being and stressed the importance of further space exploration, such as the MarsOne Project.
