- Window washers at the One World Trade Center in NY have been rescued after a motor on their scaffolding gave way, leaving them dangling near the 68th floor.
- Rescuers saved Juan Lopez and Juan Lizama by cutting a hole through the double pane glass near the scaffolding.
- It is reported that the incident was caused by ‘equipment failure’.
