Gamers push for ban on bible sales

Gamers have responded to last week's ban on GTA V  by requesting Target and Kmart to stop selling the Bible as it, too, encourages violence towards women.

  • Last week, Target and Kmart stores removed GTA V from shelves in response to a petition signed by 50,000+ that it encourages violence towards women.
  • This week, gamers are fighting back, having obtained 46,000+ signatures in a petition to get Target and Kmart to remove the Bible from shelves on the same basis, and 21,000 signatures for the game to be returned to shelves.
  •  Humorously, Target responded by saying they don’t sell the Bible, but the discussion is an interesting one with very passionate people on both sides.
