Deutsche Post is looking for alternative ways of delivering mail following reports that around 1,500 German posties are bitten by dogs each year.

  • Deutsche Post is looking for alternative ways of delivering mail following reports that around 1,500 German posties are bitten by dogs each year.
  • According to Deutsche Post, its 100,000 posties are trained to deal with dogs, but that incidents still occur.
  • CEO Frank Appel says that the Company is considering the use of drones for the delivery of mail in hard-to-reach locations.
  • Sounds like German posties have a pretty ruff job!
