Duke the dog elected as Mayor of Minnesota town for third term

Duke the Dog is the only dog to be elected as Mayor in the USA, and now he’s been elected for a 3rd term!
The Great Pyrenees is the Mayor of Cormorant, Minnesota, which has a population of 1,000 (+ dogs, of course). Local Karen Nelson told WDAY 6 that Duke has “done great things for the community”, and doesn’t know who’d run against him.
Duke’s owner David Rick said Duke was accidentally voted into office in 2014 when only 12 votes were cast via write-in.
