Dogs prefer listening to classic rock and reggae

According to a study carried out by the University of Glasgow, dogs prefer soft rock and reggae over other music genres!
Various genres of music were played for dogs at a rehoming centre in the Scottish town of Dumbarton, with researchers monitoring their heart rate and behavioral observation.
Results indicate that the dogs’ stress levels dropped while listening to rock and reggae.
Motown, pop and classical music was also well received. As a result of the study, kennels at the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals have been equipped with sound systems!
