A chatty parrot might be a witness in a murder trial!

A Michigan prosecutor is deciding whether a parrot can be used in a murder case.
It’s reported that there’s video footage of ‘Bud’ the parrot saying “Don’t f—ing shoot!” which suggests he was present at time of the homicide.
The family of the deceased says that Bud was there and is clearly remembering the events, as indicated by the recording.
Either way, let’s hope the trial is presided over by a well-rested Judge. A trial was restarted in Germany because the Judge kept nodding off during proceedings.
