People who update their iPhone from iOS 8.2 to 8.3 will notice the prayer hands emoji is no longer ‘surrounded by light’.
According to Emojipedia, the prayer hands emoji is also commonly known to be a ‘high five’ emoji, which now makes sense given the removal of the glow around the hands.
However, many aren’t happy with the change and have vowed not to update to iOS 8.3.
