• 4 policemen in Rome cooked dinner for a distressed elderly couple after they responded to a neighbour’s reports of loud crying from a nearby residence.
  
• According to ‘La Repubblica’, the elderly couple Jole (84) and Michele (94) were suffering from ‘incurable loneliness’ and had become anguished after watching sad news reports on the TV. The couple told police nobody had come to see them in months.
• When Andrea, Alessandro, Ernesto and Mirko found the couple in this state, they called for an ambulance to make sure they were not suffering from any medical problems, then resolved to cook them a traditional Italian spaghetti dish with butter in parmesan (DELICIOUS). The police then spent the night talking to Jole and Michele.
• Good food, great company and some humanity
