Melbourne’s cheese stick to be relocated?

Melbourne’s ‘cheese stick’ could be shifted 80 metres north in a bid to save 55 homes.
The shift is part of a last-minute change to designs for the East West Link by Atelier Red + Black.
The cheese stick is a 70-metre yellow steel beam that welcomes traffic to Melbourne, and is its most recognised piece of freeway architecture.
