- LeBron James has confirmed he will not play for the Miami Heat next season, having decided to rejoin his hometown club, the Cleveland Cavaliers.
- It is reported that the 2-year deal is worth $US 42.2m.
- LeBron was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers as the top pick of the 2003 NBA draft, winning rookie of the year. He guided the Cavaliers to their only NBA finals in 2007.
