• Two judges from Orange County, California have been publicly censured by the state judicial commission for engaging in sexual acts in their private chambers.
• The judges were found to have  had sex with former interns, attorneys and even their court clerks.
• The judges were caught out after complaints were received in relation to flirtatious behaviour while court was in session (i.e. the passing of “sexual notes”!) and inappropriate sexual gestures.
• Censuring (i.e. the act of expressing disapproval) is the harshest punishment given to an elected judge without taking them off the bench.
