‘Jaws’ eats record 70 hot dogs to reclaim title!

Joey ‘Jaws’ Chestnut ate a record 70 hot dogs in 10 minutes at Nathan’s Famous Eating Contest to oust last year’s champion Matt ‘Megatoad’ Stonie, who ‘only’ ate 53.
Jaws said Megatoad “woke up the sleeping giant” when he ended his reign of 8 consecutive titles last year.
In the women’s contest, Miki Sudo ate 38 1/2 hot dogs to beat Sonya ‘the Black Widow’ Thomson, who ate 34.
The eating contest is held every 4th of July at Nathan’s Famous at Coney Island
