- Gravediggers in Debrecen, Hungary recently competed in a championship to dig the neatest grave as fast as possible!
- The graves were judged on neatness and compliance with regulation size: 200 cm long, 80 cm wide and 160 cm deep (7 feet by 2 feet 7 inches by 5 feet.
- The local team won (finishing their grave in less than half an hour), and will now compete in an international tournament against Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
- The aim of the contest is to improve the prestige of gravedigging and attract new talent.
